My cat Bella i got when she was five weeks old last year in July so she's about a year old. I noticed a few weeks ago she was real cuddling and meowing more and I just kept saying I think she's pregnant. Well now her nipples are bigger and she's got a belly. She's always been tiny so it was obvious when her belly started showing but I still don't know what to expect or when to expect kittens.

We have a good collection of articles in the Cat Health section which you can access by scrolling up to the brown bar, clicking on Articles, and then choosing the Cat Health section and scrolling through the choices.  To make this super easy for you, I am copying the links regarding birth, delivery and newborns for you here.  After reading this information, let us know if you have any more questions.  And good luck with your approaching new arrivals.

I would really appreciate if someone could guess about how far she is. I've never had a animal get pregnant. Thanks for the links though!!

it's very hard to even guess how far along a cat is in their pregnancy. the best person to estimate how far along your girl is would be your vet.

one thing that may help you is that when you start seeing (it can be very hard to see them moving) and feeling the kittens moving in momma cat, it'll be about 2 weeks before she gives birth.

in the meantime, let momma cat eat as much wet and dry cat food as she'd like (kitten food is even better for her right now), plenty of fresh water available, and you could provide her with a box with some towels or sheets in it to nest in (though many cats will choose their own spots to give birth).

read about feline pregnancy, labor, and birthing. this is a good time to learn all you can about the birthing process, and you'll be better prepared to help your girl when the time comes. you can also read about newborn kittens and caring for them -- for example, it's really good to weigh them daily so you know they're gaining between 8 to 10 grams each day. and know that most if not all people whose cat is getting close to giving birth anxiously await the birthing.
