Tippi doing the Bird Chatter

Never been able to capture any of my cats doing the bird chatter thing their mouths go to fast , was really surprised to get this picture and what it shows

Tippi's whiskers are stiff with excitement and there's a funny little ridge above her nose , she had seen a Magpie on the roof

  Totally see it! Also how the rest of her body hair is relaxed..........So cute!

Do cats smell the bird when they do this chatter thing her nostrils look to be pulling in some kind of scent , that little muscle that's formed a ridge above her nose looks like it's doing something that involves smell ?

Tippi looks like one excited kitty!
