Website help

I need to make a website for a small business I'm starting from home. Does anyone have any advice?

I've looked around online and there's this kind of thing http://website.1and1.com/how-to-build-a-website which is kind of the whole package but if anyone has any other suggestions that would be great.

I don't need anything too fancy at first while it's getting off the ground.

Free, super easy user interface, and it looks good. I use this for my personal website.

Is Wix a webhost or just an editor?

I believe Wix is both! It touts that there's no coding required, so you can build interactively and they offer free hosting. I'm sure there are other options that can be purchased though.

It's both. I have wix in the URL so it's free. You can buy a domain and forward it too, if you don't want the name in your link.
