Thank you Feralvr. She's a sweetheart.
I've had a time getting her where she is now. Coccidia, worms, a special diet that won't upset her stomach and now she's being treated for ear mites.
Hopefully that will be the end of her problems. Somebody dumped her along the side of the road, she was all alone until animal control found her. I don't know what happened to her before I adopted her, but she was so scared of everything. The first time I turned on my electric toothbrush she freaked out. She's much happier now, she's finally not afraid of every new thing she sees. I love her so much! I find myself constantly worried about her health, I believe I'm becoming a bit of a worry wart.

AWWWWW - what a start to life little Josie has had but NOW she is safe, loved and very well cared for. It is really no too uncommon for stray kittens to have everything that you mention and luckily these are medical issues that are easily resolved. :cross: :vibes:

AND - join the club of "momma kitty worrywarts" ;) We would have it no other way. :heart2: :D

I know, I just don't like it when they are sick, I immediately go right to worst case scenario mode, I'm hoping I'll get past that eventually.

She's getting along well now. She and Oliver play quite a bit, sometimes I have to keep him from picking on her, but believe me she is ornery! Last night she jumped on Ollie's back while he was climbing into the littler box. Naughty.

Look what I just found! These pictures were taken by the shelter that found her.

Poor thing was so scared.

Thank you My4LLMA.

Now Oliver is licking Josie's head too. So sweet. I'm taking that as a good sign that they see each other as family now. Way better than in the beginning when Oliver acted like he wanted to eat her...jealous little thing he was.
They both go over and drink out of the water bowl together and they are snuggling now.
