She's not a cat, nor did she belong to me. But she was the sweetest little Maltese at 15 years of age. I pet sit for her, and was supposed to pet sit for her next week (and two weeks in July). I wanted to share this since normally, I am not a toy dog fan (as they're usually nasty and yappy- at least ones I've encountered), but Teacup really made a home in my heart.
She decided to stop eating. The vet confirmed kidney failure and they decided to let her sleep.
I am glad to have gotten to known this little pup- and had my last walk with her last week. In the last walk, I knew she wasn't going to live much longer- she had lost so much weight and was unresponsive, though she did make the full walk around the block without complaint. She was feisty when I pet sat for her 2 months ago- I even bought her a toy that she loved- even though she showed her age.
RIP Little Teacup. I will check in on your mommy often to make sure she's doing well.
