I adopted a 3 month old male kitten on friday, I took him for a vet visit that same day for a check up and the vet said that she thought he was doing great and no problems at all..it's now Sunday and around 9pm I noticed that he sneezed 4 times within about 10 minutes, I really didn't think much about it but it's now 4:30am and he's been sneezing all night I would say at least about 30 more times since 9pm.. I'm worried cause I know sneezing this much for a kitten isn't normal, and I plan on calling my vet first thing in the morning, but until then what can I do to help him, he looks sad and I feel horrible about it..do you guys think it's something really serious? I haven't been to bed yet just worried about my little guy he's only been with me 4 days now any advice is appreciated

Did you get him back to the Vet yet?  It could be anything, really.  He could have sniffed something into his nose which is irritating it
. could have dust type allergies, who knows.  Many kittens who are in a ashelter end up with Upper Respiratory Infections, although I would have thought that would have already shown up when you first took him to the Vet.

Hopefully it's nothing serious

Most likely, the stress of being in a new environment with new people, new sounds, new people, new cats, and new everything has brought on a small upper respiratory infection.  Be sure to get him to the vet for a check up and some antibiotics.

Okay I'm back from seeing the vet, he thinks Bruce will be fine, he had a light fever, witch is why he's been sleeping a lot and looking a bit sad, the vet didn't think there was a need for any medication but if he doesn't start to get better within a week then he will definitely prescribe some, best to just keep him warm and hydrated and get plenty rest..thank you guys for your responses.

Do you have an ear thermometer?  You need to be checking his temp at least daily.  If he was running a fever and the vet didn't give him anything for it, then you also might want to get a second opinion.  Keep a very close eye on him as kitties can tank very, very quickly.  Be sure he eats and drinks water.  You might want to add some water to wet food and warm it up a bit to entice him to eat.  Test him for dehydration by pulling up on the scruff of the neck.  If it stays up, he's dehydrated.  If it goes down, then he's fine.

You can pick up either an ear thermometer or a regular digital thermometer.  If you use a regular digital thermometer, place it either in the armpit of his front leg or in the fold of his back leg between the leg and the tummy until it registers the temp.  You'll get an accurate enough reading from either the ear or regular digital thermometer.

Don't be worried, just be proactive.  Also, if they want to give him the Convenia shot (antibiotic) tell them NO.

Sorry for the late reply. ..okay so I got some medication for bruce, I was upset that the vet didn't give him anything the first time cause maybe he wouldn't have gotten worse..He is very congested and is still sleeping all the time, he's eating and drinking normal, so I'm hopping that with the medication he starts to feel better soon...but now my other cat Bowsey is starting to sneeze alot and I'm sure it's cause bruce gave it to her, so I called the vet and he said I can give her the same medication so I picked up more, I hope hers doesn't get too bad like bruce. if any one has any suggestions to help them feel better, besides what I have been already doing, I would really appreciate it.

You need to put him in the sauna!  Just get your bathroom nice and steamy and then sit in there with him until the steam dissipates.  Or, you can run a vaporizer 24/7 near where he spends most of his time.

Yes, you can also put plain saline drops or Little Noses drops in his nose to help clear the gunk out.
