So I rescue a I we think to be about 4wk old kitten, I almost ran her over in an ally, she was so skinny you could feel every bone in her body and was just covered in fleas, they were eating her alive, We got rid of the fleas and got her eating wet food mixed with kitten milk replacer.... She is doing better with weight but has an eye infection and possibly thinking maybe a respiratory infection, I don't have the money but I am doing whatever necessary to get her to the vet tommorow, even if I have to sell my computer..... But If there is anything anyone knows I can do please any advice would be helpful... I am also pretty sure she has worms from the fleas....But she is eating pretty well about every 3-4 hours....... Although not active mostly just sleeps and eats..... walks around just alittle and then is back to sleep... hers eyes though are what are really worrying me, and the possible respiratory infection

Bless you for saving this little one and seeking medical help for her.  You're doing everything right.  Let us know what the vet says.

So my boyfriend and I sold our I phone 4 and took twilight to the vet, we got her the de-wormer shot, and antibiotics, I couldn't afford to get her the eye ointment for her eye infection, but I am trying to come up with the money... I am doing the home remedies I read about which is diluted Apple Cider Vinegar on the scruff of her neck, and triple antibiotic ointment around the eyes until I am able to get her other medicine, She is more playful today then she has been since we rescued her!! I honestly though I was going to lose her, I know I am not through the woods yet, but I am a lot more hopeful today that she is going to be with us for long time than I was yesterday so that's a good thing... :) Would still appreciate any advice anyone has on anything that they think may help to bring her to the best healthy happy kitten she can be... Thanks So Much!!!

You can get Twilight started on L-Lysine. It is a supplement available at vitamin and health food stores. She can have 250 mg twice daily (mixed with food.)

Did you ask the vet about the triple antibiotic ointment or using the vinegar? I have never heard about using vinegar and our vet opthomologist has warned us to keep our cats away from anything containing neomycin (I has been shown to cause allergic reactions and facial swelling.)
