Hi my cat rebel is due any day now from what I can tell and has been acting strange today cuddley one minute and not wanting any1 near her the next she's always wandering about meowing not sitting still for long unless she's asleep she's had no interest in the birthing box at all untill a few hours ago and keeps going in tearing up a bit of paper then coming out could these be signs labour will start soon? She is absolutely massive and has been walking like john wayne for the past week I feel so sorry for her any advice would be appreciated thanks x

I think she has some precontractions now and then...  And many arent interested in nest before shortly before the delivery, or even firstly after.   In the nature, they dont want their chosen nest to get smelly too early.

Its nearing!

Later on during the day, I will send some links, when Im at another computer.

Good luck!

My cat rebel who is due soon has all of a sudden started trying to take my 13week old kitten moon into her box but he just wants to jump on her n play wen I move him away she meows constantly but I don't want to leave him with her incase he hurts her as he's quite rough, the other thing is if my. 2yr old son cries she runs to him and starts trying to lick his face is this a sign she could go into labour soon ?

I suppose it it friendly noises, like a mom makes to her kittens, or a friendly courting tom can make to the lady of his heart...   :)   In both these situations they can have many different soft sounds.

Why not?  Their new owners can rename them if they so choose.   So is for example common with purebred cats sold to new homes.

They WILL have new names.  "A beloved child has many names", as the swedish proverb says, - very thrue, no?    :)

The only disadvantage with naming them is you may get fond of them and get deeply attached - and thus, dont have the force to sell them...   :(

But it is really the ONLY disadvantage.

What I thought it can't do any harm and it saves havin to describe each one when I'm talking about them lol and rehoming them won't be a problem as much as I love them and would love to keep them it wouldn't be fair and aslong as they go to loving caring homes (which will b vetted) I'll b happy to let them go
