Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site. I am excited to get and maybe give good advice. I am 29 years old and am married have two children. One boy and one girl. I have two Furbabies, one I have had for five years and the other one I just adopted. Both Females and both Spayed. I am having some problems with them not getting along, so if anyone has any suggestions on how to help them get along, or long it will take them to get along, I will really appreciate it.

Thank you,
Shawn

Hi Shawn! Welcome to The Cat Site! This place is absolutely wonderful! You'll meet a lot of friendly people..
and you will also get some very good advice here!

As for your two furbabies not getting along... you can try posting in the behavior forums. Try to explain in detail some of their behavioral problems.. how they are fighting etc and mostly what over and I'm sure you will get lots of advice! There are a lot of knowledgable people here!

Once again! WELCOME!!!!!
I look forward to seeing your posts!

Shawn, welcome to The Cat Site! It's nice to meet you and yours. Sorry, but I've no helpful advice on your cats' domestic policy. Why not post your question in the "Behavior" forum? It'll get better and more attention there.

In the event, welcome!

Welcome Vancontour98!!!! So nice to have you with us!! As for your kittie problem, I also have two girls who hated each other at first, but given time and alot of patience they get on fine now, the only advice I can really give is to perhaps keep them seperate for just a little while so they can sniff each other out (under doors etc) or you could try giving them each something with the other cats scent on it so they get used to it, just don't force them together! Try not to change the original cats routine too much, or she might get jealous. Depending on how bad they are, it shouldn't last too long maybe a couple of weeks, but they will get better!! Even if they never
, they'll learn to tolerate each other and maybe one day they'll even
! You never know!!
Let us know how it goes!

You'll love it here at The Cat Site - it's a great bunch of people!

How old are your children? I also have two, a boy (2 and half) and a girl (almost 5). Currently, I'm having more behavior problems with my 2 year old that my cats!

Welcome!

Welcome Shawn! I wish I had some advice to give, but as it is I can't get my own cat to get along with others! Anyway, I hope you like it here!
