Friday's Daily Thread

Good Morning everyone! Up early again! It's 5:30 am here. Maybe I'm going to be getting a new job and my body is trying to prepare me! Well..... I can only hope!

Today is laundry day. Yee-Ha! Also need to go to the consultant office and do some job hunting stuff.

There is a Chistmas craft and gift show this weekend that I want to go to. So far all of the friends I've called are either working or going out of town.

I'll keep trying to find someone!

About to get ready for work...and as I was checking my email I noticed something a little odd...Mittens wasn't doing his usual: MEOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW!!! I didn't think anything of it because I thought he was chowing down....until I heard: YACK, YACK! Needless to say...hairballs. I had to go clean it up and give him some malt stuff on his paw. Gosh, I feel like a mother with a sick child...hehe...TGIF!!! Found out hubby has to work tomorrow. Kinda sad and excited, I'll miss him but I can get a lot of stuff done! Well, I better run off and get this day started! Today is one of my best friends' birthday (co-worker, go fig)! and gotta pick her up something during lunch! YIKES, this will be a tuffy!

Finally! Its Friday.

Bill and I have a busy weekend planned: WalMart, groceries and REALLY clean the house. He has to go up on the roof and make sure that the furnace is ready for winter. I figure that we'll need it, at night by the end of the month. For now, overnight lows are in the mid- to high forties but that is subject to change.

Opie dispossessed Buddy last night and slept snuggled up with me. Rowdy stayed on my feet all night. With Bill snuggled on my other side, I stayed nice and warm.

I'll be offline all weekend. A friend is going to clean my computer and figure out what that intermittent rattle is. As soon as I get off, this morning, I'm going to disconnect everything and put it in the trunk of my car. Hopefully, I can get it back together.

Just sitting here relaxing this morning. Gotta get going soon though, we are having a yard sale tomorrow and I have to get things ready. Getting new living room furniture and have to get rid of the old stuff and tons of little junk. The weather looks like it will be great for that tomorrow so hopefully it will go well.

My sister's c-section is scheduled in about 2 hours. She can't wait, although she says Isabella has been very clingy...I guess she knows something is up. I will go visit them tomorrow...wish I could go today. I will go and buy some presents tonight.

I only got about 2 hours sleep last night. I woke up with an allergetic reaction to something. I had hives in mouth and all over my body. I took an allergy pill and it took a long time to fall asleep again. I got about 1/2 an hour before the alarm went off!

Last day at this workplace. My co-workers bought me some lovely flowers and others are taking me out to lunch. That is nice considering I haven't been here for too long. I really will miss some of the people here.

Hubby is going to help a friend put together an apartment/garage - building the whole thing from scratch. This guy has a wonderful log cabin that he rents out.
Was up late last night consoling a friend who broke up with her boyfriend. Honestly, I think she is better off without him - he is an ass.

Its a beautiful day, slept with the windows open! Hope the weather continues!

I'm taking the morning off work to go show shopping

I have to pop into work for a meeting at 1pm, hopefully I won't get caught up there with other stuff, I'd really wanted to take the whole day off.

I went out to lunch with co-workers and now I am packing up my things from my desk to take with me. At least I wasn't here long to accumulate much. The nice thing is they will ship it to my new office, so I don't have to carry anything on the bus.

I had a nice day. Went shopping a birthday gift for my s/o, and then to get the new book by David Attenborough, and then to stand in line to let him sign it. So, today I met David Attenborough! I am so happy about that!
