Update on Lana/Kookycats

She's OK. She made it through surgery and Paul says she is resting comfortably. The cancer was more widespread than what the doctor originally thought, but the doctor told Paul it's gone. All of it. So she's going to be OK. Paul said he expects her to come home from hospital on Saturday. She has a sore throat and sore "innards", but she's going to be OK. 

 for a quick and a healthy recovery.

Oh, my! I totally missed the previous posts about this.    I'm glad that the doctor said it's all gone. Sending all my thoughts and well wishes to Lana and her family!

I've been thinking about her the past few days, and I am so glad to hear that she's doing well.  Have a speedy recovery, Lana! We miss you!

I'm going to call Paul tonight and see how she's doing.

Paul called me yesterday afternoon. Lana is up and about. She's been walking around a bit and she's now in a chair, not in bed. She's not hungry yet, but other than that she's doing well. Paul says she's being very brave. Her biggest concern is that Paul isn't taking care of himself! Discharge from hospital is still Saturday.

 for a full recovery, Lana!

I am so glad she is doing well.  I love hearing about older couples who still really care about each other.  I see older couples still holding hands and obviously taking care of each other, I think it is so sweet.  It kind of restores my faith in the whole in sickness and in health etc thing.

I am so glad to hear this news. Sending lots of prayers for healing to her.

Paul called earlier this afternoon. Lana is up and she is eating solid foods. She will definitely be discharged Saturday sometime!
