Help with fever

My cat has fever (104.7o) Do Lysine 550mg. can hel to reduce the fever.   I can not take her to the vet, until tomorrow morning. (today is sunday ) . I am worry for her and I want to bring the fever down. Is there something else I can give her? Please help!

Lysine will NOT reduce fever. It is used to keep the Feline Herpes Virus from replicating.

It's OK to give L-Lysine 500mg twice a day while she's sick.........Will it reduce the fever? Not directly, but it may help her.

Is there something else I can give her?

WATER is excellent........if you have ice cubes, use some, as they may also entice her to drink (!).....and, put a few water bowls around the house.

Something else?  NO !  Never give human meds!

READ the other posts above....there are some other ideas there.

How is your kitty today?  Have you gotten her to the vet yet?
