Spirulina?

Is anyone using spirulina either for yourself or your pets? I am on a quest to find a natural supplement for my babe Gus in his cancer battle and this has come up time and again as a good potential natural cancer fighter. I am giving him about 1/4tsp 2 times a day mixed in with a little tuna. Just wondering if anyone else has tried it. Everything I can find on the web is positive.

I have taken it in the past, however it did not agree with my stomach.

Have you done any research on Colostrum? it builds the immune system I know quite a few dog and cat owners that give it to their pets.
