What I was doing this week!

This last week my brothers and I went to our family holiday cottage in the centre of France to do some renovation work. My younger brother, Paul, recorded the proceedings and this is the result. I came back here shattered. I still haven't got all the paint off me or my dog's coat! We will have to go back for a second session before the holiday season starts in mid July.

Looks awesome! It must be so fun to have a holiday cottage. How far is it from your home? I guess based on the video, it's drivable 0 the area looks beautiful as well!

Did the guy's pants happen to fall down or was that on purpose? lol

This week my husband & I went to a lovely bed & breakfast in Indiana, right on a bluff above the Ohio River!

Lucky is at home being visited by my daughter!  She is amazed at how friendly he has become! I hate to suggest to her, any port in a storm.

That was a bit embarrassing. That was one brother's photo of another! I guess they thought it was funny.

The house is in Limousin, in the centre of France. It is set on a beautiful lake. From me in Normandy it is a 7 hour drive. For my brothers, who live in Britain and have to cross the Channel by boat or tunnel as well, it is about 14 hours. So not really a weekend place for the family, but most of us go there at least once a year for a holiday.

LOL.

It does look like a nice getaway, and it sure beats tent-camping or staying in expensive hotels for a vacation!
