I have to figure out a way to get kitty to the vet because she spent three days in a cage: day 1 figuring out where to put her day 2-3 setting up the place. we gave her food and water and she calmed down with us...until we had to move her to release her. She didn't eat until the night of the second day and after we put her in the new place today when we found her she was menstruating and we had seen a cat on her multiple times the day we tried to catch her AND she hasn't gone to the bathroom. we put her in the new area today. How do I get her to go to the bathroom, how do I get her to calm down enough to eat and how long until I see the early signs of pregnancy, I already know the late ones, but I need to know SOON. Please help

I have not seen the first part of this story since you have just started a new thread so the old info is not attached.  It sounds like you have trapped a feral cat and are trying to get her settled in.  Cats do NOT menstruate, so I hope you did not see any blood coming from her female parts.  They DO go into heat, and then the males breed them.  They will not allow this if they are not in heat, and they do not ovulate until they get bred, and then they go out of heat in a few days.

It sounds like you have just moved her to a new area, confined I gather.  The way to get her to calm down i (1) YOU calm down so she will not sense your nervousness and thus she won't feel there is anything to be nervous about; (2) leave her alone in the new space for awhile, and if you go in and out, be very slow and deliberate and don't look her in the eye or even directly at her; (3) provide several litter boxes that might appeal to her -- one being natural sand, another soft dirt from the outside where she was living and a third being perhaps Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract litter -- expensive but you usually only need one bag to get the cat trained to use the litter, then you can use less expensive litter; (4) put in several kinds of very attractive and good food, like chicken and maybe tuna, or raw chicken and beef if she likes those (cats living n the wild are used to eating raw food.)  Of course include water --bottled  spring water or tap water filtered with a Brita filter is best as it has no chlorine taste.

We have a good collection of articles in the Cat Health section which you can access by scrolling up to the brown bar, clicking on Articles, and then choosing the Cat Health section and scrolling through the choices.  To make this super easy for you, I am copying the links regarding pregnancy, birth, delivery and newborns for you here.
