After we had released the kitten we had set up a live trap we borrowed and we caught a cat but she was so smart it took three tries, she is in a cage half covered with a towel right now, the person I live with said she saw a tom on her and after we had her we had to wait for a man to get home to help lift the cage up the steps with the angry, potentially pregnant, harassed, and scared cat in it. We're trying to find a place to put her that's not a live trap, but we don't know what to look for in a room and we live in a very small house. As I mentioned in a previous post the people here can't stand cats and the shelters has no taming patience. What of success for us taming it in a family house"

Oh, that is no big problem.  Let her be in this crate, till she has calmed down some. Ie, leave her in a room in the crate.   After a while you open the crate, but still leave her be, till she is calm.  Of course, have water, food, scratching post, litter (sand or alike,) in there.

After a while when she notices nobody is mean nor  there is no immediate danger, she will cool down. She will surely be shy, but it is a lesser problem than a high strung highly defensive cat...

Etc, etc.

YOur small house is no real problem. It is only good she is near you, she will be fostered easier.  Thus, a typical fostering place is in the fosterers bedroom...

The real problem is, as you do have several different cats to try and help, and socialize, I wouldnt advise you to begin fostering  with an adult semiferal.  It CAN be done with enough love, patience and time.  But as you must make priorities, my advice is you begin with kittens, and possibly as next step - cats you clearly see as adoptable.  AND as said in earlier posts, spaying of the adult and almost adults should be your priority nr 1.

Fostering Kittens and friendly adults next step.   And not so friendy, shy semiferales - last step, if you have the time and resources.   CAN be done, and it is a by God praiseworthy deed, but for every one of such a shy adult, you can easily foster 5 or even 10  friendly ones, or kittens...

Nay,  let spay her - if possible even before you let her out of this crate, easiest so, if the vet can take her in next day or so...

Let her  be healthy again - perhaps three days...  And let her out.   She is adult, she is used to live out there, there is no pity about her.   Look up the word of TNR.

Good luck!
