Hi umm I'm new to this site and I'm not sure where this thread is supposed to be so ill just post it here.
I have a 3 yo female cat and she is healthy and happy but not spayed ( we give her pills when she goes into heat) . This summer my family is going to a tourist resort for vacation just like last year ( same resort) and last years vacation went smoothly, everything was fine. The only problem is that this year my sister is bringing her new 7months old tom cat/kitten who is not neutered ( not sure if I spelled it right ) and I'm just kind of worried. What if they don't like each other ? Or worse what if they like each other too much and get my baby pregnant while we're not there? I am just so scared because my cats vet said that most domestic cats/ queens die while giving birth and abortion is out of the question because the vet doesn't have the needed things where I live.
Getting them neutered and spayed is out of the question either because of the reason above.
should I not let them see each other ? Should I get pills for my sisters tomcat/ kitten ? Should I just stop worrying? Please could some of you give me some advice because I have never had 2 cats at once let alone un- neutered or un-spayed cats.

I would NOT have them together.  I also would NOT have him in the car as he most likely will spray.

Have you looked into other vets or vets in different areas/on way to your vacation to do a spay?  Your vet is wrong about most die-If that were true there would be no mixed cats as they would mainly die off.  Though that may be said so your extra careful as to many unwanted cats as is to be adding to that issue just about any part of the world.  If you put your area some one may know of a place you can go.

I am 15 yo and i cant do anything about it . It is really frustrating. It is extremely hard to find any qualified vets in Mongolia to spay my cat and not only that but my parents refuse to let me do anything about it. My sister can't get her kitten neutered because she's short on money and as I said earlier my parents won't send money to her for that saying " it is not natural to castrate an animal". I try to explain to them but they won't listen. The best my sister and I can do is keep them seperated and put them in seperate rooms. I guess I'll just have to start saving money to spay my cat and start searching for a qualified vet myself after the vacation…
Thank you for your advice Catsallaround and Sharon Budd
