You can use the saline drops for eyes on a cotton ball.  If you hold the bottle in your hands for a bit, it will warm the solution and you can gently wipe the goop from his eyes.

He seems young - is his mom around?  Sometimes when kittens are taken from mom too young, they haven't learning basic grooming,  We have a cat we got when she was three weeks old who still does not wash her face properly and she's nine years old!  I didn't know she needed to be taught those skills, so every once in awhile, I have to wipe her eyes down too.  Its funny because, just like a kid, she does not like it!

He was found by another gal newborn or close. We took him at all weeks. He is between 5 and 6 weeks now. My teenage cats do all but nurse him. Include cleaning him and such.

He thinks he is one of the teenagers... flying after them. Its soooo cute.

Yes. I have one cat who is 15 weeks, and 2 who are 13 weeks. All three ladies mother him. It is neat to watch.

I asked one... got no answers.... do cats need to have their own lutter to have the momma insticts. Answer apparently is no lol
