Hi so I am very new to this, but it is so great to find a community of cat people who are so nice and understanding.
My story how I ended up here, started with our kitty he was the best cat to us ever, unfortunately very long story short he went to kitty heaven at the beginning of the year.
A week later I found a ferral kitten outside my office, he was hissing and spitting but I just knew he would not hurt me(the black kitty in the photo) it took about a week and he was completely house trained and loved to cuddle, we did not think it would be that easy.
A month later we got our little red, Pepper, in the photo, I have always wanted a Maine Coon . So I was so glad when I got her.
But from the moment she got in the house it was vet bills climbing. She had a lot of problems and infected our plant cat, Midnight as well.
Now almost 2 months has passed and it looks like we are getting to the end of all the troubles, so glad about that.
And in all my research I came across this site, and I am so grateful for all the information and advice.
We also have a great dane, Darwin, and he and Midnight just love to play together, it is so cute to see this small black kitten playing with the huge black dog, will try to get a photo of them and post it.
