About Purring

my little girl daisy when she want love and attention i noticed that she dont purr when i give her affection..now beemers on the other hand she purrs like crazy.i just never have ever heard daisy purr i dont understand that...

Some cats just don't purr. Purring is how the momcat communicates with her babies, it is the first sound they hear, and how they know how to move toward her belly to get food. Cats will purr when they are happy, scared, or even in pain- but again, I have had a few cats that didn't purr until they got older, and one that has never purred at all.
