Awesome Petsmart woohooo

We saved soooo much over $100 using 2 coupons. Had to have coupons for the 15% off. My kitties are gonna be spoil happy .

Got one tree tonight and a ton of wet food (10 cases) plus some dog food (is wet food bad for dogs? Grrr... A worker there really pushed his point.

Anyone else do the 15% deal?

Sounds like a great shopping day! I didn't go, my cats are on homemade raw and I'm broke. What in the world was the guy saying abut wet food for the dog? PLEASE tell me it wasn't the myth about dry kibble and cleaner teeth.

10 cases, wow! I didn't go either. We forgot to print the coupon before we left the apartment this morning, and my boyfriend didn't want to make the stop on the way home. It's hard to buy a ton of canned food and carry it for an hour on two buses, so I resigned to missing this sale.

HOW DID YOU GUESS? I told him Louie has perfect teeth and gums. We got him smaller kibble. We shall see if it works.
He refuses to eat normal size kibble for his size of dog. PETSMART had him on one kind... no go. We got him three others. He prefers kitty kibble which the guy got stinky about. Really crummy about.
The dog has been eating wet and dry cat food since we got him (even the kitty kibble... ) he takes one piece out.... moves it to another spot and will work on it. According it to the vet, teeth, gums are fine. Who knows about his jaw as I am sure he was abused before we adopted him. Vet said it is fine. Frustrating.

Five cats and a dog.... money is really tight at times, so I stalk up on everything! The food was on sale plus the 15% off.

If I had a dog who had trouble with kibble, I would certainly feed him/her canned food. It is really expensive for a large dog though.

I was out of town this weekend so I couldn't go to Petsmart

. Bummer.

I work there. part time (weekends), and it was our double discount weekend = 30%

I stocked up on litter and cans....and maybe a new toy!

Sadly we only have these sale weekends twice a year.

What is double discount weekends? I am hoping we got enough for the next big weekend lol. You will have to reremind us for the next one.

We litter and pads for our litter box. Sadly.... most of those were gone, the large bags of litter and pee pads for their one litter box. Forget name of the system. I forgot about those and the toys... i was so excited about the litter and sharing a coupon with the foster lady i forgot and we got toys.
We hit the $75 max and then some. Because I gave coupon #2 away... he reused mine for the cat tree. Woohooo...

Double discount weekends are for employees. Our regular discount is 15%, but twice a year, we're able to double it

Unfortunately there is a maximum purchase amount for employees as well ($500).

I don't remember what was on sale, but I buy Halo and Wellness cans at $2.29 each for the 5.5 oz size. When I use my discount it, the price is more reasonable

I'm sure it could get it cheaper elsewhere, online, but I like to support my store, even if it is a corporate box store

I used my coupon and bought four cases + of canned cat food, since all my furkids are on a raw strike right now. Most of what I bought were 3 oz cans though. Wish they sold them in larger cans, but they don't. Mine are on a Simply Nourish and Nutro Natural Choice kick right now. I'm going thru 6 cans minimum a day, so this will go fast.

I could not make it as just had spent $300 on sick kitty but I price match the rest of the time and usually end up doing ok/about the same so not to much lost. And then I stock up Black Friday

Had no idea they did double discounts 2 times a year for employees-that is cool!

I wish they had a door greeter. I would work there. Stay away from the adoptions. Lol
My legs are bad... I would need a chair.

Our Petsmart is cool... let me use my coupon twice. I should have stalked up on more food. Lol!

What do they do for Black Friday? That would be worth it. Lol. I never do black Fridays buy I would for my babies.

Hes all better.

Look up "black friday 2013 petsmart" to see the flyer from last year. 7 pages. For my cats Friskies was .39 plus had coupons out, GNC supplements were half off and Meow Mix was 8.99 a bag. Also stocking with coupons were given out to first 100 and we managed to get 4 -2 from 2 different Petsmarts.

They had A LOT of stock so it was great.

Nice! By Nov it won't be 600° out in Nov. Lol. Downfall to living in AZ.
