Good morning!
And Happy Friday! It's been another long week and I'm ready for the weekend.

My question for you is very simple: Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip? Both? None?

I like both of them and they both have their uses. Often when making potato salad or pasta, I will combine the two (but only if my BIL isn't coming for dinner. He hates MW, thinks it is diseased and firmly believes it should be declared illegal
).

What about you?

I like both for different things. Mayo tastes good with fries and it's good for making dips. Miracle whip is better on burgers, sandwiches, etc. I have both in the fridge, but most of the time we only have miracle whip and I just buy mayo if I need it for something.

I'm fine with either, but my boyfriend is like your brother-in-law - Miracle Whip or any other low-cal, low-fat, or knock off is inedible. Hellman's mayonnaise is the only product that is allowed to grace our fridge and our food.

Mayonnaise all the way! Love the taste, more rich and smooth. Prefer it on everything, from burgers and sandwiches to fries and chicken and deviled eggs.

I never liked Miracle Whip, too sour and light. Altogether it tastes gross/like nothing to me

Though of course it doesn't matter if it is in the fridge because someone else likes it. As long as both types are there for both of us it is all good.

I love mayo! It's actually very easy to make and homemade is REALLY good - it's made of eggs, oil, and lemon juice. Miracle Whip, IMO, is just gross, the ingredients are junk and it's loaded with sugar.

I like Miracle Whip. I always use it in Potato salad.

Miracle Whip is a foul, nasty substance. I love real mayo, either Hellman's or the generic, heavy duty stuff from the restaurant supplier Sysco. My husband likes Duke's mayo, but I do not care. We get Hellman's. I am serious about my mayo, lol!

I had a coupon for Duke's here a while back and it was on sale at the grocery store. It wasn't bad, but as soon as it was all, we went back to Kraft. Yes, I prefer Kraft over Hellmann's.

I use heinz salad dressing instead of mayo. Is that the same sort of thing?
