I have a snowshoe Siamese, have had him since he was 3 months old. My friend owned a pet store. She told me about "alkida", he had already been adopted and returned 3 times. NOBODY could handle him.
She asked if I could foster him till she found someone with patience. I had 2 cats, an Icelandic snowcat,(12), a ragdoll(10), 2 Rotti's. I took him on, changed his name, and discovered something's about him.....
He was neutered at 6 weeks, and loved to sit on top of open doors, and jump on you walking by...OK.... (my husband was deployed, thank goodness.). well my older cat decided that, HE could be this crazy cats big brother\buddie......... Chagrin is still with us. Last year the ragdoll and tragically my 24hrs old, both passed away...... chagrin was not the same, until we got 2 kittin brothers...... one is just like him...... the other like his buddy!! he is a great cat........ at 1 and a half, he was hit by a car and mauled by a coyote, he was missing for 13days, he crawled up on the awning, he new we would see him..... he had 2breaks in his hips, ribs, stitches, and locked in the bathroom, 6 weeks.............. he hasn't changed, just got mature........ maturing came slowly, being neutered that young has it's effects on any animal........I love that crazy Siamese. going to get another one next year......................
