Hello............this suddenly appeared last week and it looks more depending on the light she's under. Its like a raised bump with this black mark.

Maybe one of you had a kitty with these symptoms in the past?

Thank you!

I guess I'm not sure what you are talking about.  I don't see anything on her nose.  Are you talking about the furry part of her nose?  /What in people would be the "bridge" of their nose?  I'm sorry, but I really don't see anything that I would consider a "black nose".
.  But regardless of that, have you tried sending this picture to your Vet and asking them what it might be?

Thanks I am. Now including a more clearer picture I hope.
Yes vet sees bacteria but doesn't know the cause
Could be separation anxiety stress as I was away fine days, could be water related and scratched over, could be food allergy or a mosquito bite as she's a total indoor kitty.

OK, now that I see the picture of her right side up
, I DO see a raised area on the bridge of her nose.  So...the Vet thinks it's a bacterial infection, possibly.  Have they treated it with any antibiotics and that hasn't helped?  Or if they think it might be stress related, have you tried anything to try to relieve some stress, like using Feliway Plug-ins, giving her more things to keep her busy while you're gone...cat towers, bird feeders to watch while you're away, cat videos to watch, harp music playing on the CD player, Rescue Remedy essential oils, different toys, even a feeding station to keep her busy when she eats>

If a suspected food allergy or mosquito bite, does she "worry" at it?  If it doesn't seem to be bothered by it, then I wouldn't think it is either one of those things.  If she does, then what is being done to "fix" it.  Change in diet?  Have you seen any mosquitoes in your house?  Did they prescribe anything for her in case it IS a bite?

Could it be a cyst? Swanie had one on his nose in that location. had it removed and biopsied.

Misty the vet saw bacteria mass in the culture he tool. I'm using entered ointment and if it still persists then I will ask the vet if it could be a cyst. And should he not have mentioned that to me?

Thanks Misty
