I had a blast last year, I am glad that I took another chance. I was matched up with a great SS recipient; that makes a huge difference. They were as excited and engaged as I was, so it was pretty fun!

Not sure if I'll be participating this year or not; I have some medical expenses coming up, so I'll have to see how things are closer to that date. But if I financially can, I definitely will!

Last year was great! It was right after my wreck, right after I had to rehome Smokie and was just perfect timing to uplift my spirits. I loved shopping for my SS too.. In fact have already started some things this year
Ooh, I wasn't a member last year - now I'm excited! If I can get a job within the next few weeks, I'll totally be in!

Hahaha! I've been looking up the prices to send parcels of varying weights to other countries too. I love sending and receiving post (save for the insane prices), and I love having an excuse to shop for others! I was so relieved when I got a job and could justify being part of SS.
I think we usually start sign ups mid august and run them for about 3 weeks. I haven't even started prepping my spreadsheets yet.
Yes we do; but look up in this thread for the guidelines from last year. They do change from year to year; based on the past years experiences.
