Hope,
I read your question in the genetics forum. Are you having problems
with your Bengal?
Since I have gotten my Bengal, I have met a few people that feel they are not the best choice for a pet. I would not get another one, but that is just me. I find them much too active to make a pleasant companion.

No, I'm not having problems with him. He's pretty playful, and he's emptied over a huge bag of dog food onto the kitchen floor, trying to get into it, but my Siamese cat did the same thing in the past. He's a lovable little guy, but he is active and he LOVES to play.

The reason I asked the question, was because I was just wondering, since Bengal's don't really have generations of 5,000 or more years of being domestic cats, and I've heard that a few states don't really consider them the type of cat that people can keep in their homes.

Thanks for the response.
Glad to hear he is doing well. I think it just depends on the cat
mine is settling down however, is a handful. I have to put him in the spare room when I leave, cannot let him in my office, and he is starting to bite again he did this when he was small, then stopped now is starting again, its in play but he plays rough.

His coat is quite long now, with a big fluffy tail.

I'd sure love to see him. I've never seen a long haired Bangel. You live in the LA area don't you? Maybe we could meet sometime.
