Yup! Thats one reason why doctors tell you not to drink carbonated beverages when you have a tummy bug, it can cause more gastric distress than you already have!
I don't think it's especially diet coke. However artificial sweeteners can cause wind, as can fizzy drinks - so I guess anything fizzy with a diet label attached is a recipe for duvet lifting
Yah, carbonated water too, well at least for me
