We have a 14 week old male Lynx Point Spotted Snow Bengal kitten (he's been here for about 4 weeks) and just got a 22 week old Brown Spotted Bengal female kitten this past Sunday. Miko, our little male is full of spit and vinegar. They have completely opposite personalities, Phoebe is very mellow. He will NOT leave her alone. He is constantly chasing after her, and she growls and hisses every time he is close to her. He gives her no breathing room. We have been keeping them seperated for most of the day and all night in two different rooms. We hate that Miko has to be in the room by himself most of the day because he won't leave Phoebe alone. Is there any way that we can teach him to leave her alone? Is it just going to be an adjustment for both of them, and only time will solve this problem? Phoebe is more than double Miko's size. Phoebe weighs 7.25lbs and Miko is not quite 3lbs. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Is Miko altered yet? If not, I'm not as familiar with how soon Bengals mature sexually, but in the breed I worked with, American Curls, they were beginning to be sexual at 16 weeks.

Just a thought!

He isn't altered as of yet. Phoebe is to be spade in December, but I really think that she is a bit early in her development. (Vet said she is already getting her adult canines in). I had wondered if maybe that was part of the problem with Miko, as he acts a bit like he wants to smell her *goods*. He isn't supposed to be neutered until around February, but maybe if we go ahead and get Phoebe fixed, the problem will get better. I will have to do more checking on early development in the Bengals. Thanks for the suggestion!
