please help!

I moved to a new apartment on Sunday. On Monday I noticed my cat has involuntary ear movements. This disturbs her alot and seems to be getting worse.

I went to the vet- blood test are fine. no ear infections. The vet thinks its because of a anti bug spray\pest control that was done in the new apartment.

The vet didn't give any solutions, just to wait and see.

ANY IDEAS???? HELP!

I would find another vet if you can. That doesn't sound like a very good option to just wait and see if she is that uncomfortable. That is happening to the part you can see, what is going on with the parts you can't see. Can you try cleaning the whole place with dawn dish soap and water? running the fans and opening the windows? I can't believe they didn't tell you what to do. Would she be better off boarded somewhere until the toxic levels die down? Can you find out what was used and call the manufacturer of the product or poison control?

thank you for your reply.

They think it is Pyrethroids poisoning.

they checked the boarding option but said they really wouldn't do anything for her there.

The place seams clean and there is no infection. do you think cleaning with soap and water will help?

maybe there is some herb or medicine that counteracts the effects of the Pyrethroids  ?????
