She Is a stray. We thought she was a male on APRIL 29th, because she had to ball like things on her privates. But now we know she is a female because she is very pregnant.
Symptoms:
-large belly
-babies move a LOT
-nipples are larger
-her boobies are getting bigger
-very loving
-sometimes mean if you touch her boobies/belly

~we think she is 7/8 weeks. Based on the April 29th. But we added a week or two because we didn't realize her pregnancy symptoms then. P.S. I am 15.

The cat is an outdoors cat... But I brought her in the house for safety! And yesterday was her first day in... She didn't eat really. Last night she was all over my room. Today she ate, pooped and peed in the litter box, and drank a lot of water.

Excellent you took her in, Stella!  And excellent she adapts so quickly to it!   Most high pregs do, they recognzie soon enough its safest and best so for their oncoming kittens.

I, or somebody else - prob Red Top Rescue, will give you some useful links during the day.

Welcome and Good Luck!

Here are the links.   Ps,dont let her out again before she is luckily spayed!

We have a good collection of articles in the Cat Health section which you can access by scrolling up to the brown bar, clicking on Articles, and then choosing the Cat Health section and scrolling through the choices.  To make this super easy for you, I am copying the links in here.  After reading this information, let us know if you have any more questions.  And good luck with your approaching new arrivals.

Okay I have read the links. She is most deffenitaly 8 weeks maybe a few days over. Thank you for the help!! And just to clarify we will get her spayed ASAP. We also live in a farm so we plan on keeping her babies as barn cats.... AFTER they are spayed/neutered. We were planning on getting Mama kitty spayed after our house cats but she was already showing pregnancy signs. We were too late. :( but now she is in good hands and will be taken care of!!

My cats belly looks like its dropped.. it's hanging low at the end now. The nipples have risen a bit and look swollen, she cleans her belly only and sleeps a lot. Only caught her nesting a tiny bit 2 days ago.
I took her temp yesterday night and it was 99.0 .. This morning went up to 99.6.. I still don't see the stage 1 beginning yet. Still trying to steal my food from my hands too.
Weird thing happened today.. She peed in my dogs food bowl!

What do you think??
