wow, those people live really close to me in London, and the animal home is only just down the road
It's amazing how this got so out of control. But just a point here.....
In the US it seems ALOT cheaper to spay and neuter, around here, you're looking at around Â£50 (thats pounds not dollars). Add the consultation fee, which is around Â£25 which ALL the vets insist on (
) and you're looking at around Â£75 PER cat.
It's my guess that for an elderly couple, thats quite alot. However i do realise that these people DO have a hoarding problem, i'm just pointing out it's not so cheap and easy here to spay and neuter.
Several people i know won't do it due to the price. There is a place in another part of London where spay/neuter/vaccinations are very cheap or even free, but if you don't live in the catchment area, you don't get. Thats why there are always so many kittens available in the free ads, pet shops etc.
