I've found one relativley near me. But all reveiws are saying its terrible and to avoid at all costs :/ ... He's being alot more livley after his wee and poo. Poo very very dry. Little tiny dark balls. Passed alot of urine.  He's abit more livley. Still searching for a decent ER near me. Tempature has dropped ever so slightly to 40.2 ..... as said before if cant find one first thing in morning is taking him to the vets. In mean time giving him more water

oh Canada~
Are there any in your area on this map? You can enter your postal code on the side, but as I zoomed closer to London, it looked like they were quite scattered. :\ London is pretty big, so it's a bit difficult to narrow down a specific vet that may be nearby.

http://www.vets-now.com/find-an-emergency-vet/

http://wanstead.goddardvetgroup.co.uk/ ?

http://www.villagevet.co.uk/ ?

Sorry if these are redundant. I'm just finding the ones that are a ways from the ESVC since I don't know which direction away from there you're in!

Hopefully he can be seen quickly.

HI;

No more milk. Water is fine. You can offer something like chicken baby food. Just make sure the label states only chicken, water, and maybe citric acid and corn starch. Nothing else. Chances are with a fever he won't want to eat. I wouldn't be covering him with blankets or anything for right now since his temperature is high. Actually the 40.7 c = around 105 f or a bit over it. 105f is high for a cat. Something is going on be it an abscess or a virus. There is something really tasking his system if it is that high.

While it is good that he urinated and had a bm today. It is very bad that he did so on the bed. That shows that he is so weak he can't make it to the litter box in time, or so out of it that he is having it and unaware he is doing so due to a back or spine injury or just because he is that ill. So, that is a bad sign, as is the purring. If it is excessive purring it can be severe depression, pain, or other not good things. Cats will purr when content and will also purr in order to try to calm themselves or reduce stress.

There is really no hard facts as to why and how cats purr yet. Lots of theories and speculation and opinions, but nothing proved. I fully do believe what I wrote above though.

I totally understand that you are 16years old and unable to get the kitty to your vet without your parents consent or transportation. You can only do what you can do. No one on this site is trying to make you feel bad or upset you. It was sad to read your first post because I don't think anyone here would blame you for anything. You don't know what you don't know. Totally not your fault. You can't disobey your parents and you can only do as much as you can do to persuade them to take your kitty sooner. People do have to work etc. Not everyone can get off of work when they need to. Some bosses are not understanding about cats being part of your family.

That being said, it does sound like your cat is ill and has something going on be it infection, virus, or something. He should be seen ASAP. But don't beat yourself up over this or cry and get upset around your cat. He will feel it from you and it will confuse him. He is exhibiting signs of something significant going on, so please don't give up on getting him to a vet ASAP. Usually with an illness or injury, the longer you wait the more serious and costly it becomes to "fix" them. If they can be fixed at all at that point.

No matter what do not let your cat out. When they are ill they will sometimes try to run away from their pain and you won't find them again.

Like I said, your cat really needs medical attention ASAP. I think I can speak for everyone in understanding what a difficult position you are in right now. But hang in there and let me know what happens at the vets.

Hi.. He did a further 3 wees 2 outside of his bed and 1 inside after I wrote that, it was like 2/3am so I forgot to update and fell asleep after.

We took Tigger to the vets as soon as it opened this morning.. He was in alot better shape then last night.. Vet Diagnosis - My initial guess was right. He got in a fight got bit at the base of his tail (the vet said for some

reason cats get in a bad shape when they get bit here) .... Temp was still high this morning at vets again, he did a more soft poo. Vet was so so so lovley and knowledgeable.... gave him antibiotic for the bite and another injection to bring down temp. Going back in 48hours for another antibiotic injection....

He getting back to his old self much to our releief lol... Sniffed the cat food was intrested took a lick but didn't want anymore.

Thank you everybody for your really lovley messages and helpfulness. You have all helped me (and Tigger) so so so much

I am glad you got him to the vet. I would keep him inside if you can. Make sure he does eat, although he probably won't until the fever comes down. Hope he makes a speedy recovery.
