You can't submit a picture per se. Then again, every picture you upload to the site can be our Cat Picture of the Week.
Every Sunday, I'll go over all of the images submitted to the forums, galleries and cat pages. You can do the same by visiting the galleries page and following the "Recent Photos - View All" link. Then just keep scrolling for more until you've covered a week's worth of photos.
Unlike our Picture of the Month, this isn't a contest and there is no specific theme. Just a way to highlight the best of the many awesome pictures submitted to this site every week.
You can help highlight the best content by showing us what you feel are awesome pictures. The way to do that is give purraise to the actual image. If you follow the Recent Photos link, you'll notice that as you click a specific image, it comes up like this -
See the green Thumbs-Up icon? Click it to Purraise the picture. You can also do that by clicking an image in a gallery or a forum thread. Make sure you purraise the image and not the post or album.
There's a link where we can check and see the pictures that got the most Purraise. Right now, members don't tend to purraise images, but hopefully as that changes in the future we'll be using it more. The purraise rankings will be checked each week and they can definitely be your way of influencing the esteemed judges!
