Hi from Australia :)

Hi everyone, been lurking for awhile.

My crazy cat lady status is limited by my partner so for now I just have the one cat - a 7 month old kitten Luna. She has a large ventricular heart defect and was a malnourished array before the local rescue group took her in. As a result, she is quite small for her age.

We have already spend thousands on her in vet bills but now she is finally healthy and on her feet.

Hi @natalie708   glad to hear your Luna is doing well.   I especially like Luna's ears. They look like they can rotate and pick up any sounds. And welcome to TCS.  Hoping that when you have time, you could start a new thread and tell us how they treated Luna's heart.  Take care.

She is so fortunate to have someone who loves her like you do! A lot of people wouldn't spend that kind of money on a "pet"! You're in the right place here because we all Love our furbabies and we would spend whatever we could afford on ours!! She's a doll!

 You are an angel to care so well for your kitty. I am so happy that she is well now. Don't think for one minute that she does not know that you saved her life. Animals know. Blessings to you and your baby girl. 

Don't feel bad for spending the money, I've spent about a thousand making him healthy, and just found out he needs a tooth removed (about 5-700$). Maybe we are crazy, but maybe we just treat them how we would like to be treated.

Hey welcome to yet another Aussie! I'm in victoria and I too have a DMH grey boy!

Maybe us aussies have a thing for grey cats!

Oh what a pretty boy! His eyes are stunning. And thanks everyone! Luna has a stubborn eye infection at the moment but other than that I am still constantly amazed that she is showing barely any sign of illness.
