Hey....wait a minute.....I get snow and ice, and my house was hit by a small tornado in early May......

I think I'm living in the wrong part of the country!!

Uggggggghhhhh snow! We've been lucky, it's been in the 70's here in Philly for 3 days now! This weather can stay all year, if it's up to me. I don't like it too hot, and I don't like it too cold. And while snow is gorgeous and magical at Christmas, the rest of it can just go someplace else. I am praying that we don't end up with another winter like last year. Every time you turned around, it was snowing.

That's why I'd rather move where you don't have tornadoes! I can deal with everything else !

That picture looks like it was taken here. That is what our roads will look like in a couple of months.

at least if I went to Alaska, I wouldn't have to deal with tornados like we have down here ! (Especially skittish of them since one passed a little too close for comfort last Nov. 10th !)
Yeah but you would have to deal with 9 months of darkness- not an easy thing to do. Although summer more than makes up with it with 18 hours of daylight!

I could handle the darkness better than the light probably !

Those are the only 3 that came out good enough to
even see. I need to get a new digital, mine's
a really cheapy one lol
I took those about an hour ago at the Mississippi River,
at the part that's only a little bit from our house.

Brrrrrrr.....that looks really cold LOL!
I saw mississipi and thought hey how come no snow in texas but then saw you are in minnesota LOL!

Well we all want what we don't get and since we don't get it enough down here, I'll keep asking for more snow and snow pics LOL!
But I wouldn't want to live in Alaska I don't think. Last Christmas, it was in the high 70s, talk about bummer weather....

LOL Nope cold Minnesota here.

I know what you mean about a hot Christmas,
My Mom lives in So. Cali, I was at her house
1 Christmas and it was also in the high 70's and
it just didn't feel like Christmas to me.
I joked around with her about decorating
a palm tree lol

LOL!!!
You get to choose????? We don't seem to have any choice here, we usually get both! There's nothing quite like going outside to shovel freshly fallen snow when the wind chill is 40 below zero!!!!

Living, as I do, in "Lotus Land", we don't actually get much snow -- can go whole "winters" without a flake. But every so often we have to take our lumps with the rest of the country
Such was the case, a couple of years ago, when we did get what was for us a significant dump. The digitial camera was new then, and EVERYthing got its picture taken...
