In search of alternative treatment for the skin condition of my cat, I found articles and books of DVM Dr. Andrew Jones.

Free book contained not much of information I didn't know, and before buying $50 main book, I wanted to ask if somebody here tried it or his mineral supplements, were they helpful of not.

Heavy marketing approach and "secrets" "revealed" makes me very cautious, it makes my skin twitch, figuratively speaking. Any input from who already tried this?

Thanks.

Never heard of the guy, and if your initial gut feeling is "scam", then I would go with that

I had my suspicions too, whis is why I asked here.

I was thinking that this may be as good as Dr. MyHill (UK) for humans, and she is good.

Downloading free introductory book automatically subscribes to his hewsletter, but again, omega-3 oils of animal origin are necessary and no dosage or mode of administration provided, safe diet includes 50% or rice (pure carbohydrates), salt and garlic(?) to taste for cats.

Holisticat website provided similar but more to the point information about danger of vaccinations.

Anyway, we are having two unexpected surgeries one after another, and everything else had to be put on hold.
