I really hope not, but I suspect that our cat could be pregnant again (3 months after her last litter). What do you think? I am so furious at my husband for letting her outside! We planned on getting her spayed this week. I will be so upset if she is :(

I should also add that she is showing extreme signs of going into heat and is tormenting our (desexed) male cat and following him around everywhere! I've read that cats can still go into heat when they're pregnant. Not sure how accurate this is?

Yes, it can happen.  Both "seemingly" and for real, as it can happen they have two different litters simultaneously, and deliver them several weeks apart.

With a little luck both litters may be healthy.

So for example, one of my ex-neighbours her cats is from such a second litter.

Re her pregnancy.   If you dont wish this litter, you CAN abort.   Its not pleasant, but for an experienced vet its no big deal,  talking about risks and so.
