Seriously!  I know long weekends throw off routines but I have been so unproductive this week and the weather isn't helping.  Granted last week I did a deep cleaning of much of the house so it's not in terrible shape...but things like the laundry are really suffering!  It's cloudy again today and we had a little rain.  Yesterday we had a nice thunderstorm roll through.  One of my kids is giving me sleep troubles so that's not helping me today either.

I'm just glad we have leftovers from grilling on Monday.  I've been making quesadillas for the kids and I for lunch too.  It keeps it simple and doesn't create extra dishes I don't feel like washing!

I hear the couch calling for me as soon as it's nap/quiet time here!  Then I WILL make a meatloaf for tonight's dinner!

I think I should have stopped at Dunkin Donuts for a coffee while I was at the grocery store earlier!

At least Mooch is keeping me entertained fly-hunting!

:::raises my hand::::

Doesn't help having a dog and up to 4 kittens laying on or around me.

I need to find my get up and move. It is so hot in AZ and muggy. Bleh...

I'm sure your get up and go has gone to the same place mine has.  I wish I could find it again, there is so much that needs to be done...

That's how our day started out; hot and humid.  I really dislike going out when it's so humid you can see it in the air.  My hair was nuts!  And it's not truly curly!  I just let it air dry this morning because I didn't plan to run out anywhere.  I ended up going to the grocery store so I just prayed I wouldn't see anyone I knew!
It's now in the 50s; it feels better even inside.

Maybe the cats have made off with it.

I wasted a whole hour or so reading a magazine last night.  It felt....decadent!
And it was a parenting magazine.

Mine's been gone for years. Really years.
20 years sgi thr kids were in the army and I got divorced. The apartment was empty.i didn't cook. I have a cleaner so the house was clean. I had to go to work but I'd come home and eat cornflakes.
It's never really come back. Blame the hole in the ozone!
Mind you I did bake a cake today.

So glad I'm not the only one with no energy. If I don't get started doing chores early in the morning they don't get done. This morning my intentions were there, but then I discovered we were very low on litter, and since my Tippy is such a fuss-pot I went to Walmart to stock up. I only needed litter and orange juice but ended up spending $65! I have to stay away from that store! But now we're well stocked. Tomorrow is another day and the housework will hopefully get done tomorrow - EARLY!!!

Oh thats when I get the most done as well.  I used to hop out of bed and get going.  If I showered or had breakfast I'd get so much less done!  Now I blame the kids for not getting as much done.
THEY want breakfast and have their own list of things they need me for; chores come next.  But by then I'm so hungry I need breakfast.

It has been gloomy this week; that just doesn't help.  Oh well; I have dinner in the crock pot and doing a little each day is better than giving up right?

I've had so much to do lately that I've been feeling overwhelmed. I just sat down for a few minutes and I really, really don't want to get up. The clothes and groceries aren't going to put themselves away though. :sigh:

Our neighbors just moved back to Arizona.  They've been texting me some gorgeous pictures!

I have the clothing thing going on myself.  I may dump the baskets on my bed and fold there.  I'm afraid if I sit on the couch I won't get as much done.  I really should do the dishwasher first...

What I REALLY want to do is work on a craft project I'm trying to get to!  I need to get to the craft store thats 30 minutes out of my way,  That all sounds like a lot more fun than housework!  At least I've put both my kids in their rooms for nap/quiet time!  I could use one myself.  Instead I bought some Junior Mints while I was at walmart earlier.

It feels good at 65-80 degrees, in the shade... but once it hits 80+ in the shade it stinks. Bleh. It is really pretty seeing the birds and such. I love taking photos which i did last weekend.... i just need them off the camera lol
