Identifying my new puss

Hi all, I'm new so hello to everyone. :-)
I've just got a 1year old puss, he's chipped and am going through the change of details etc. now, I was told he was a persian, but he doesn't have the characteristics of the stumpy face that I've seen. Maybe he's just a longhaired something or other? The paperwork states the code is psh? I can't find what that means! Anyone out there got more of a clue than me? :-)
