My cat has lymphoma and is on prednisolone. Was looking at this supplement and concerned about interactions with prednisolone. Reason is a lot of recommended for cancer herbs have warnings about possible interactions with steroid medicines. Here's the link http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/cat-cancer

or ingredient list

Chaga (Inonotus obliquus)**:  Considered a type of mushroom that grows mainly on birch tress, this fungus is known for its naturally occurring antioxidant content.  It contains plysaccharides that are used for maintaining a healthy immune system
  • Blessed Thistle herb (Cnicus benedictus)*:  A long-used traditional plant, this restorative herb has been used for its detoxifying and cleansing properties, as well as for its antioxidant components and cell regeneration.
  • Burdock root (Arctium lappa)*:  Burdock has been used for providing help to the liver (bile secretions), to support a healthy appetite, and for the maintenance of healthy cells in the presence of chemicals.
  • Red Clover flowering herb (Trifolium pratense)*:  One of this flowers actions has traditionally been called "alterative", meaning that it possesses a gentle action to "purify the blood of toxins".  It contains small amounts of important vitamins and minerals that provide easily absorbed nutritive value.  It can also stimulate the appetite.
  • Sheep Sorrel herb (Rumex acetosella)*:  High in Vitamin C and minerals, this herb has been widely used for lymphatic health, for health of the digestive tract, and as a detoxifier.
  • Slippery Elm Bark (Ulmus rubra)**:  High is mucilage, this slightly sweet tasting bark has been used for centuries in North America for soothing the digestive tract and absorbing toxins. It is highly nutritious with lots of antioxidants.
  • Turkey Rhubarb root (Rheum palmatum)*:  Used effectively to normalize bowel movements, this plant (also known as Chinese Rhubarb) is not to be confused with the garden variety.  It enhances this cleansing formula by gently helping the body to excrete accumulated material through the bowels
also struggling with vitamin c, cat won't tolerate it on food, and really hate syringe feeding her when she dislikes taste.

if you mean a capsule yes that was a disaster but probably my fault, had to take half out but was big and opened up in her mouth and she got straight c powder and then vomited and I freaked out thought she inhaled it and was breathing funny after, called emergency, yes I am a dork, she's still alive. gelcap will have to look into those not familiar, thanx a lot!

a capsule never again though way too big, even with coconut oil. her pred pills are perfect and tiny why can't c come like that, we never have problems with shape and size or maybe it does come like that.......

I used Life Gold (cat without cancer and not on prednizolone), have no knowledge about drugs interaction, but it helped a lot as immune support. They have a veterinarian behind this, I believe, you can ask them. I did, about how admininister it, and full procedure was given (orally, not to add to the food).

Sincerely hope it may work for your cat.

Wow thanks a lot for answering, I will ask then about the pred, just those seem like lesser known herbs. Good to know you use it and think it's worth it

Goats milk? Someone told me to give chalupa that for more calories. But she's old and would that be bad with the cancer ?
