Hi, All,
I am new to posting, but I always come around by way of obsessive Googling my kitty's idiosyncrasies (first time cat mommy...guilty as charged!) You are all so helpful and knowledgeable, so I hope you can help me with my kitty's little mystery.
Marlo is almost two years old and in overall good health. About a month and a half ago, she got an injection for an infection. Since she got the shot, she has been getting what I can only describe as "shocks" or "jolts" in her back legs and in her back.
They almost appear spasm-like and happen pretty frequently, especially when walking around and playing. She gets them daily, hourly, sometimes multiple within a span of minutes, especially if we are playing hard with her favorite fishy toy.
Of course, during my neurotic Googling of what it could be, all signs point this crazy cat mom to FIP. I know, I know...classic WebMd hypochondria, now for animals! What a joy.
She has been sleeping a lot more, gets tired quickly, and often just kind of falls into a cute, furry ball of mush after playing or walking around. She is usually very active, so you can imagine my surprise having a docile sleepy kitty around.
What are your thoughts?!
