My cat Mikaela gave birth April 26th this year the kittens are now 4 weeks old how old do the kittens start eating wet? and how much? they are using the litter boxes no issue except Stefan peed on the floor 2 days ago its expected lol and there running around and playing but none will eat the wet on there own until I put a little on there tongues and they set there all confused like it takes a couple times of me putting it on the tongues for tasting to get them to eat it and at that sometimes they walk away em I starting it to early or are they just slow? they all weigh a 1lb is that good weight? I had kittens in the past and all of them did different things at different rates

I find that when I have a mama cat who is still willing to nurse, the kittens aren't interested in wet food until they are 5 or 6 weeks old.  Depends on the kittens, of course.  I don't push it as long as I have a mom cat who is healthy and just let them discover it on their own.  Mine are 6 weeks now and just gotten enthusiastic about mom's food over the past week.  One was way in front of the other by 4 days, and the other has only gotten it in the last 2 days.  When I had bottle babies, I pushed it earlier, just using plain chicken baby food, because it helped their growth to get it earlier, but the nursing kittens are fat as can be and it seems that jut as they start to slim down, that's when they discover the mama cat's food.
