Hi everyone- I have an 11 year old Manx cat. Over the past 6 months, she has become completely incontinent and pees everywhere. We've gone to 3 different vets and ruled out bladder infections, stones, tumors, bacterial infections etc. The current consensus is that she's developed this problem because she's a Manx and these type of cats often have spinal/neurological problems that develop throughout their lifetimes. We've bought every kind of diaper for her, and she just kicks them off. Her poor little private area is an absolute mess, she smells terrible in spite of our constant cleaning of her and there is pee everywhere. We've been told that our only other option is to get her a $1700 MRI which would be followed by surgery. Not only can we not afford this, we just don't want to put her through that kind of trauma. I would so appreciate any advice or insight anyone has on how to deal with this problem. We just don't have the heart to put her down for peeing everywhere, but we have to figure something out. Thanks.
