Hello,

I've just noticed something is floating on one if my cat's eyes.

I've tried to take a couple of pictures, but not sure they are clear.

It looks like some hair, or a think plastic film. Not sure what that is.

My cat does not seem to be bothered about it. He's playing normally.

Is it something that will resolve itself, or is it a thing I should be alarmed about and rush to the ER?

If it were an injury in the cornea (God Forbid!) he would be in pain and showing pain signs, right?

I can't see the vet today, it's an hour drive from my place.

I'm worried sick, please tell me what I can do.

Thanks.

My happy place.
Does it move? Only yesterday my Amber had a long floppy strand across her eye and I rubbed her closed eye a little and it worked itself to the corner. It may not be this but I thought I would mention it anyway. He's beautiful by the way.

If its floating and moving around I think its just normal detritus matter, I've seen it occasionally in my cats.  If it wasn't moving at all one might suspect an abrasion.

Thanks God! I went away, not sure how.

I tried moving it, but it did not, and that's why I was worried.

Thank you for your answers,

My sweet boy and sending you his thanks and meows.
