So the holistic vet gave me this for Mimi. Does anyone tried that with their kitty?
Two of the three holistic vets I consulted with for Sebastian recommend Standard Process supplements, but we weren't able to use them due to the possible allergens in the ingredient list (he's very sensitive). They are "whole food" supplements, and I do like that concept. They have good reviews, too. You might want to just double-check the ingredients and make sure nothing stands out that might give Mimi a problem (that you know of). Here's the product description on the company's website: https://www.standardprocess.com/Products/Veterinary-Formulas/Feline-Whole-Body-Support
Also Mimi started vomiting again clear liquid every other day but only mornings. Maybe empty stomach ? In one week she will visit the internist .
Bummer. I'm sorry to hear this.
Both Sebastian and Boo have an issue with excess stomach acid in the mornings. They each get Pepcid AC just before bed. Some people have had success offering a few freeze-dried treats just before bed or very early in the morning (before the cat has a chance to vomit). It can help soak up the excess acid.

Pay attention to what @GoHolistic   said about stomach acid in the post above.   Cats digestive juices start flowing heavily in the morning as they prepare for breakfast.   You would need to give 1/4 of a 10mg tablet (do not get the 20mg max tab) at night preferably in a pill pocket as they are very bitter.

Secondly, hopefully your cat is drinking plenty of water to avoid dehydration with this much vomiting going on.    If not I would get her to the vet for at least a subQ.

Good luck

Mimi went to the internist. She told me to get her some blood work done to see if she has EPI and to see what is her b12 level but in 2 weeks, we could not draw blood because sneaky Mimi run to the other room while it was closed and she opened the door with her paw and ate my others cats food. Tsk tsk. So now we have to wait anyway because she recently did a b12 shot. But Mimi feels fine.

We bought Pepcid ac too! I will keep you updated about her EPI is she has it or not.

Hello all! Just a little update on Mimi, she gained 2 pounds and she did a blood work again for GI panel and b12, everything looks good but she needs some b12 shots. I'm so glad she is doing so much better!

Currently I m feeding her Stella's and chewys dehydrated raw food and that's about it. She takes her pancreatic enzymes, still 0.5mg of prednisolone and she is happy! Thank you all for helping me with suggestions and gave me strength to deal with this issue!! I will let you know when something's changes!

I am so glad she is doing well.  It sometimes takes a while to find the right combination of things to control IBD, it can be very frustrating and frightening when the possibility of lymphoma is out there, it sounds like you have found it for your kitty.

Great News!  I think B12 is a real help.  Obi gets his every 5 days now, and double what he was getting ...HUGE improvement.  He too gets 5 mg pred, and also I give him a small amount of metameucil with his morning meal.

arinlars, I read somewhere that it was better to give cats pred at night because they metabolize it better then...so I give it at night.

Yes, many, many times.  I had a diabetic cat and I gave him his injections twice a day; I would pull up on the skin at t he back of his neck when he was eating and he did not even notice.

Now, I cannot say this is the case with Obi, and I am injecting him every 5 days.  He does not like the injections and he fusses a little too, but then I feed him right away after.  It is only a needle stick; their discomfort is over fast, and Mimi will feel SO much better.  Once you have the needle in, DONT withdraw it without injecting the B12.  It will not cause her any more discomfort than the initial needle "stick".  That is the worse part.  So once that is over - just quick push the plunger.

Should I target the hollow skin ?

Good for you!  we knew you could do it.  I may review a video or two just to be sure I am doing it the best way possible for Obi.

Mimi's tummy seems to be large and tight. She eats a lot and plays a lot more. So maybe she is getting bigger? She used to weight 3.4 kg when I started this threat now she is 3.84 which is a big improvement but still maybe it seems to me this way? :(

Any weight gain is good.  My cat actually started losing weight before she put it back on.  It went slowly at first and then everything came together when I least expected it.  She went from 4.5 lbs to 10 lbs in the course of six months.  Keep positive thoughts!

I am dealing with the possibility of IBD or lymphoma or even leukemia with my cat. She went from 16 pounds to 9 and even down to 8 pounds. Right now she seems to be stuck between 9-10 pounds but the vet would like to see her at 11 + pounds. She quickly lost the weight and suffered from liver issues and is obviously malnurished. I am trying to find the perfect food (dry and wet) and other supplements that might help her gain weight. She is on a Iron/B12 supplement and prednisone and a small dosage of bile thinner until her next round of blood work.

Do you have any suggestions? Do you have a combination that works for you? (I'm sorry if this was discussed earlier in this thread) My cat has been on appetite stimulants for awhile but they didn't really seem to work and I don't think my vet wants to keep her on them long term.
