No Vinson

I was told on Wednesday that my new cat Vinson would not be coming home this weekend. I would have had him here by now. There was not enough volunteers. They said next weekend, that there will be a few other cats travelling up this way, and it will be more worth the trip this way. Needless to say, I was colossally disappointed. But, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Poor you - how disappointing. Hopefully Vinson will join you though within the week - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

awww I'm sorry. That's so hard to get your hopes all up and all excited and then to be let down. I remember how long the days seemed while I was waiting for Hallie and Jake. Cheer up though! He'll be home soon!

Woohoo!! tomorrow is the day!! I am driving two hours into Indiana to meet the transporter, in the evening. I have Vinson's room all ready, and am going to pour the litter and water and stuff right before we leave to get him. I have the vanilla ready, some feather toys, a nightlite. A five foot mesh screen frame that fits in the doorway. Is there anything I am forgetting?
