I have a female grey tabby cat. We found her wandering around our neighborhood about 2 years ago when she was only a few months old.

About a month ago, we noticed she was getting plump, and last sunday, we say that kittens were kicking around in her tummy. So we're going to have baby kitties.

I got a big cardboard box, cut off the top, and placed an old towel on the bottom. She's been getting used to it a bit each day.

How long does she have to go? And what else should I do to get ready?

Thanks.

We have a good collection of articles in the Cat Health section which you can access by scrolling up to the brown bar, clicking on Articles, and then choosing the Cat Health section and scrolling through the choices.  To make this super easy for you, I am copying the links in here.  After reading this information, let us know if you have any more questions.  And good luck with your approaching new arrivals.

Thank you so much.
It's been 6 days since the first kick, & she's still hanging in there.

If it's going to be about 2 weeks after the first kicks, then it should be around the first week of June.

Again, thanks.

Yes, something about this.  Also, if it takes somewhat longer, dont worry, cats manage too long pregnacy better than a too short pregnancy - unlike humans.

Also, please consider strongly to spay her when the kittens are weaned.  I suppose you arent eager to get more litters??

Good luck!

They're here!
She gave birth to 2 little ones under the house.

I had to crawl under there to find out. Took me an 2 hours just to see them.

Oh, they were born last Sunday. June 1.

Are they still there under the house, or were you able to fetch the whole little family somewhere inside?  @xaptus 0

Good luck!
