You can and must feed them yourselv, including some stimulating if need be.  The question is, if the mom is sick in some way, that is why she stopped to feed them.  Say, she may have inflammed teats, and them hurts.   If so, you must probably / surely to the vet with her, so she gets some suitable antibiotic paste.

I will write more in about 40 minutes.

So, you must with the mom to the vet.  You may begin and phone, if it is "just" an antibiotic paste you may perhaps get it prescribed on phone.  some vets do so, especielly if they know you and you are theirs paying patient since before.    Mom refusing to nurse is a dramatic step, so she must be in serious trouble with pains, to stop it.

Does she take care of them in other ways?  washing, stimulating, warming up if necessary?

If so, good, half of your job is done.  If not, YOU must take charge of it...

At four 4 weeks not sure they need stimulating, they perhaps do relieve themselves.  But you must be sure they do.

Overfull bladder and or tummy isnt good. Becoming soon critical.

Constipation coming in too very soon.

Im not sure exactly how much you know, and how much you dont know...

But its your charge your duty to help them.

They may have began to eat solid food?  Like wet canned cat food?  If so, good, proceed. But if not, you must proceed with giving them kmr milk or goat milk, introducing slowly more solid food later on.

Go to some pet shop or Walmart, and buy bottles.  and some good kmr or goat milk.   kmr = kitten mothermilk replacement.   NOT the so called kitty milk, wich is essentially cow milk made lowlactose.

They arent fond of bottles, so you must perhaps try several times.

In the beginning you can use a dropper to get them going. Its easier with a dropper, althoug its so tiny amount for 4 weeks.

Be sure they are warm at feeding.   Important tummy down, head up, like they would be with mom.

dropper in the corner of the mouth,  NOT down the throat.

Bottle - if you have the bottle head down, it should become slow drops dripping down, it shall not flow freely down more than slowly, as said.   You can somewhat increase the hole later on, if necessary.

For ideas, look into the site  www.kitten-rescue.com, about helping orphan kittens.

If you google, look up handraising, handrearing, kittens...

Re the fleas.     When you contact the vet for mom, you can ask the vet about fleas too.  besides, if kitten has fleas, mom has them probably too.

with small kittens, chemical preparates arent so good, unless the vet recommends you something safe.

You can take the fleas manually, with a tight comb.

You can also bathe the kittens in warm water with some liquid Dawn soap for washing dishes.

Its what many of our american forumists do.   I presume most mild, liquid soaps will do.

You will probably must do is several times, as those on the head will not drown, just those on the body.

Just be sure the water is warm but not hot, there is no draugh there, and you dry off them properly...

I think it was the most important for the moment.

Please come with reports and more questions!

Good luck!

How is it going?

If you have difficult to arrange all this I wrote down, and dont know any cat or dog person who is used with small kittens or puppies, try to find a helpsome mother of several children.

Such Moms are used to organize things and get things flowing, also in a crisis and full stress.  Show her my posts, and let her take charge...

The conduct of sociale behavior is, in time of great need, you can ask for help, even a neigbour whom you normally dont speak with and they are more or less to compelled to help you. Themselves or by giving you good tips for someone else who can...   Ask the moms of several children in your neigborhood (or among people you know).

Please report here!

Good luck!   *vibes!*
