Greetings! I was wondering if there are some online sources for quality cat food at a great price.

Of course!

I'm on the East Coast of the United States, and I like PetFoodDirect.com and Pet360.com (same company) since they are only one state over. Shipping is super fast since it doesn't have to go far.

I've also ordered from PetFlow.com and had a satisfactory experience. I've also ordered single cans that I wanted my cats to try (before buying a whole case) from ItsAPetsLife.com.

Online retailers frequently have sales and coupon codes that they send through their e-newsletter, so it may be a matter of checking several sites and see who has the best deal before you purchase. I like to start a "Shopping Cart" so that I can also factor shipping cost into the total price.

The only site I've used is Chewy.com, which had very quick service when I made my first order last week. (The UPS man told me he delivers a lot of Chewy boxes!) I found some good food prices on the sale center page.

I order a lot from doggiefood.com(only good experiences with their customer service people) and sometimes chewy.com.  I've also used wag.com and pet360.com when I was able to take advantage of a promo code.  My method:  find a place that has the food/litter/other supplies you use at a decent price, then do a google/forum/social media search for current promo codes.

I bought from Amazon. I got Wellness, I suppose the relative pricing on each brand will vary.

I also got from a local company that delivered! Their pricing was competitive and I only paid a dollar or two more over online pricing.

That's great to have a local company that delivers. I always try to support our local stores -- depending on what I buy where, their food prices are generally better than online plus I've gotten lots of great advice -- and wish the one that delivered had something (anything!) I would buy! Kitty litter, though, is another matter, particularly because the kind I use, Dr. Elsey's Respiratory Relief, sometimes runs out at the two stores that sell it.

The last time I looked, Chewy.com had a good price for the Respiratory Relief.  There's also an option to get 15% off(I believe) your first order(when you sign up for autoship, which you can cancel).  I just had ten 40lb bags of the Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat delivered at $11.99 a bag; so nice not to have to deal with lifting/hauling those from a store and a much better price than anything local.

Yes, the price was good for Respiratory Relief, several dollars cheaper than our local Petco, and a little cheaper than the regional chain, where it's not always available to begin with. I definitely don't want to run out: one of our cats had coughing problems with Fresh Step that went away as soon as I switched to RR!

That's great to hear.  I was going to try the Respiratory Relief but the company said it's the same as the Precious Cat(as far as dust) but with some added herbal essences("The herbal essences are proprietary but are like Bach flower remedies").  I might try adding some in with the Precious Cat and see if it helps.

I just placed my first order through Chewy.com and I'm kind of kicking myself in the butt for not using them sooner. My Dood's preferred food is $.94 a can at our pet store and $.70 a can at Chewy. Between his 3 brands it is a pretty big savings at the end of the month even taking shipping into consideration!

oh Canada~
Aww, Chewy only ships within the contiguous US.. Canada is contiguous too! :( My brother has a PO box since my family lives a stone's throw from the border, but they don't ship to POs either! No love for Canadians. I have yet to find a good online supplier of high quality pet food within Canada*. It costs several limbs to get stuff, especially heavier things like food shipped, and shipped over the border to boot.

* with competitive pricing, I should add

I think this is why I do better ordering from a company that has a shipping warehouse close to me. Even if the per can price is higher, I still get a better deal on the total cost when shipping is less (I also like that I get it in 1-2 days). The exception is when there is a "free shipping" sale or promo code; then it doesn't matter.

I've never paid for shipping at Chewy. . .but of course I make big orders ;). Hey, if you're gonna use it anyway, might as well order it all at once!

I order from petflow, chewy and petco online. I get emails from them, and they always have coupons. I got 25% on my last petco order for dog food and 15% off from petflow.

Than you very very much for the link to purchasing single cans!!!

I'm pulling my hair out over food issues at my house and it's costing me a small fortune. I can't keep calling Chewy's and asking if I can return "cases less one can" because my cats won't eat a new food I'm trying out for them.
I've been the guardian for my very fussy boy for 2 yrs now and I'm still sorting out his diet to prevent vomitting as much as possible. Yes, I've spoken at length with our Vet about this and have implemented all of her suggestions to no avail.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread. Bad manners on me.
