My co-worker has a Hyundai Sonata and, Sunday, he couldn't get the steering wheel to turn properly when he put the key in the ignition switch. Because of that, the key won't turn. He tried everything, moving the steering wheel around, up, down, everything. And the wheel won't turn and the key won't turn in the ignition switch. I had that problem with Hannah before (must be a Hyundai thing), but luckily I was able to get it working OK. Well, he couldn't and they had to put the car up on a jere-rig (spelling?) and take it down to the garage.

Which leaves my co-worker without a vehicle. He biked into work this morning, but he can't get home that way today because we are expecting rain. So I gave him Clarence. I had driven Clarence to work this morning, so we drove him home at lunch, I gave Clarence to Bob, and picked up Hannah and drove her into work this afternoon. So Bob has Clarence. I have Hannah. It should only be for a few days until the garage figures out what's wrong with his car's steering wheel and then I'll get Clarence back. He can get back and forth to work with our receptionist, but he's worried that he won't have a vehicle in case something happens to Jasper (his cat) and he has to take him to the hospital or something.

I told Rick that I would rather give Hannah to Bob and keep Clarence, but Rick said no, that Bob can drive Clarence.
So then I told Bob to be very careful....Clarence is my boy!
And Bob says he feels very special.....I wouldn't give Clarence to just anybody.

And that's my good deed for the day.

oh Canada~
It took me a second to figure out all the names, haha! That is indeed a very good deed! I'm so paranoid with my car, I don't even like my brother driving it (he says it's uncomfortable anyway because I'm so much smaller, and it's a Corolla so it's a little thing).

Oh, I'm sorry. I automatically think that everybody knows Clarence and Hannah.

Bob is my co-worker

Clarence is my 2001 PT Cruiser (also known as the Puddy Tat Cruiser
)

Hannah is my 2012 Hyundai Tucson

Truth be told, I'm a little worried about Clarence. I know Bob is a good driver, but well, I'm leery anyway. I just love that car. When my sister had car problems last year, she was going to take Clarence (the Cruiser). I said, she could just drive Hannah (the Tucson) and I'd drive Clarence.

That is so nice Pam!  I had a hard time not flinching when my Mom drove my Outback this weekend with me in it!  She's driven it before.  And fussed at me for gripping the door handle.

I know the feeling! I always grip the handle in the ceiling when Rick drives. He goes around those corners and I'm hanging on.

Clarence comes back home today,

I know how you feel!  I'll be letting a friend of mine borrow my 1994 Yukon tonight/tomorrow.  It's a 2 door (rare) and 4x4 which makes it top heavy.  And he's convinced that his "reflexes" are everything they used to be and more (at 69 years old).  I've ridden with him.  They aren't as he thinks, lol!

Hope Clarence comes home safe!  Bob too, of course.

You are just a super nice person anyway. Maybe the day will pass quickly and Clarence will have a safe journey home. Just for the record, I wouldn't loan out my CRV. Not sure we would loan out any vehicle.

Aw, thanks, Barbara.
He's home in the driveway. Bob got his car back yesterday. He likes driving the Cruiser, too. He had offered to buy it when we were looking at a new cars because he wanted a car to just drive back and forth to work to save some mileage on his Sonata. I turned him down because I wasn't ready to sell the Cruiser yet. (I'm still not ready)
